I have been told by the chaps fitting the new shop front that it will be computer sales and servicing hence the high security grill.

Full marks to them for removing yet another beautiful old shop front. I see it was very carefully taken apart and shipped elsewhere.

No they haven't, it was taken down as it infringed their human rights. They are also lowering the height of the walls so they can easily get their balls back when someone kicks it over.
