Sydenham School (Dartmouth road) would like to warmly invite our local community to the first of our 'Sydenham STEM (Science technology engineering & maths) lectures' this Thursday 30th January at 6pm until 7pm in the main school hall.
The talk is to be given by Dr Elizabeth Cunningham, a research fellow from the University of Surrey. Her talk will be on how atoms are formed in stars. In addition, she will be talking about her journey into becoming a scientist, and the exciting opportunities that exist for youngsters going into science careers.
So if you have an interest in science, stars, atoms or science careers you are more than welcome!
