I had an issue with a dj when I lived in Battersea by the Albert Bridge. He would play the tsk tsk tsk music for hours on end. I borrowed a friends Marshall amp plugged it into my Kenwood and played the EP In God We Trust Inc by the Dead Kennedys. 
I went down to the chippy some 700 yards away. Inside the chippy with a closed door you could hear every word of this EP. 
On arriving home the police appeared. They said they could hear it inside the police station. 
I informed them I had an issue with a dj who lived behind me - the EP had finished by this time - and I wouldn't do it again. The DJ had closed his windows, which were wide open and put headphones on.
I could hear birds singing and the traffic again and all was well.
The dj never did open his windows or play loud music ever again whilst I lived there.
