An idea that was floated 2 weeks back was for another social. My vote would, naturally, be for The Dolphin. Although if the Dulwich Wood House has sorted itself out yet then perhaps there. With that in mind:
1) Who's up for it?
2) Lem, how's that kitty getting on? Surely with all the weeks of 10+ there must be a pint or two in there?

2? I think there's about £60 in the kitty.

Sorry chaps. Late cancellation due to mini-me unleashing hell. I doubt I'll be playing next week as I'm catching an early morning ferry Thursday am. And definately out the week after.

Sydders Social Soiree!

Gentlemen,
Seems this social has some buy-in and by default I'm organising it. Thought it'd be fairest to wait until both Marathon and Trickster return - given they're both regulars - and to try and ensure work and social diaries have enough advance notice. With that in mind:
Date: May21
Location: The Dolphin (where else?!)
Kick-off: 7-7.30PM
Basically, I thought we could book a table inside and have some supper. The garden, although a delight and perfect for al fresco dining, isn't really up for tables larger than 4/5. Then we can head out to the garden for more drinks and the early kick-off means there's still plenty of time for serious supping...for those who don't mind school nights!
This is open to anyone who has come along and played 5s on a Wednesday, at any point.
So; I guess I'll start.

I'm in for next Wednesday's footy.
I'm in for some beers for May 21st but am likely to have to come along around 8:30 so may have to miss the food stage. Incidentally 21st is a Friday so no worries on work next morning. (although if you've got young kids the mornings are all early......

I did actually mean the Thursday, not sure how I made such an error with the dates. We can chat about which day people would prefer (Thursday or Friday) at next weeks game.

Thanks for the assumed. I'll confirm I'm in for this wednesday.
On the great drinks debate, Thurs is better for me that week as I am in charge of my lively Glaswegian cousin on the friday and believe me, neither you nor the dolphin want me to bring him along
