How about a bulk payment on a monthly basis? These £8+ weeks are becoming quite frequent and it would stabilise the kitty a bit. (Pay for 4 weeks, use within 6 or something). It's a nice idea (leaving aside the fact that people may not be keen to part with a chunk of money which they need for other things or would otherwise have in the bank), but for it to work someone needs to do the admin each week.
