I fear darkness affords the same advantages as B&W...
Thanks for the kind words but we're getting a good run-out each week. Any other good 5'ers out there?

I'm not sure what Ulysses is talking about (he usually lets his football do the talking), but if I were you I should come along sydenhamboy. We can always play rolling subs if it gets too crowded. But then I'm not the manager these days, so no doubt Marathon will confirm.Ulysses wrote:For the first time ever I feel somewhat contrite.sydenhamboy wrote:Hi chaps - bumped into the charming - and not unattractive (it was dark) Mr Whitehead .. said you chaps are still 5 asiding regularly. I too bumped into the same Mr Whitehead shortly after you did and he mentioned (rather charmingly, in a not unattractive way) that you were up for a game.
I’m never one to turn anyone down so you’re more than welcome S’boy.
I think we were all agreed last week any more than 5 a-side gets a bit crowded. And 6 v 7 would be ridiculous. So rolling subs it is.

That's what I was trying to get across. That the dark, much like black&white, makes people look better.
Anyway, looking forward to this weeks game!

Just an update about me.
I saw a specialist yesterday and i seem to have some debris on the knee. This has caused swelling and pain. I am on some better anti-inflammatories/painkillers for the next 6 weeks, after which another assessment will be made. They want to avoid any intrusive procedures.
So I'm out for the forseeable future.
And i'm not called Roy either
