Your point about fuel prices is valid but surely this is a world market.

Re Living Wage you are totally totally correct. I have written on many occasions that the Living Wage should be mandatory for all employers in the Kingdom ( even Doncaster council ).

Of course employers costs will increase but if I can afford a Costa Coffee I can afford to pay the true price and not have it subsidised by the tax payer.
