I'll say the new café in Mayow Park - although, curiously, I don't think their cappuccino is great. I had an Americano last time, and really enjoyed it.

Everyone enthuses about the cakes, but I've resisted such tempation.

I had amazing coffee in 161 on Kirkdale at the weekend. And cake. The breakfasts smelt yummy too. Oh I am v happy this is on my doorstep!

If you are travelling with kids, push chairs, friends etc, it will be difficult to beat the new re-vamped Cherry and Ice: they have extended, decorated, and bought toys and games for the back of their shop. it looks/feels lovely
