Happy new year guys and glad to see numbers holding up and looks like a few new faces. Sadly i wont be returning as i had an operation the day before Xmas eve on the disc some of you saw me slip last year! Been a nightmare few weeks but on the mend however contact sports are out.....anyone for golf?!
Keep up the good work Alex (and team), expect I'll see some of you around and will pop down for a beer when I'm back on my feet

Hello all,
Came across this forum looking for some football in the area.
Any chance you'd have room for one more new recruit?
Used to play a bit before but it's been a couple of years; fairly rusty now though...

I've blocked booked us on the 7's pitch from the week after for 10 weeks! till the 21st of march! So lets hope the numbers keep up..

Guys, If Goals have put their prices up EVEN MORE, are you sure you dont want to re-consider using Powerleague at Catford? Weekly cost per player would be as little as £5 a player .? or even less!!

Kevan - despite goals being more expensive I think we have all agreed to bite the bullet and stick with them for the following reasons:
A) it takes most of us no more than 10 minutes to get to goals. Getting through the South Circular from Sydenham to you can be a trial on occasions. I'd rather pay the extra and know I'll be at goals for kick-off
B) their pitches and clubhouse are in better nick.
C) as some of us are inclined to hit row Z when shooting for goal we weren't too impressed at having to stop another game to retrieve our ball from their overhead net.

Fantastic!! welcome back steve...
7 v 7 but on the 5's this week! shame but we are back on the 7's next week!

OR if we can manage one more player, 3 teams, 10mins a game, winner stay's on...i know we never do anything like this but just a thought
£8 this week i'll bring change so just bring notes
hopefully no one pull's out!
Everyone get there for 8:15 latest so we can meet the new guy's and welcome them aboard, play and pay!
Have a good day, otherwise see you guys tomorrow night
Richard and Darren, i'll pick you up...i have room for 2 more if needed! let me know
