Yep, good to see you last night, gents.
I'm out on 14 Sept.
I think we agreed first Wednesday in December (7 Dec) for Christmas curry and 'awards ceremony', so pencil it in your diaries!

Agreed, was a good night last night. I'm up for the 14th. Had a strange dream last night of Bazza hiding behind a tree in Canada from a giant MOUSE.
(Must stop eating cheese before I go to bed)

Yes good night last night.
Thanks Sydders, will check those out.
Glad we educated Sydders in the way of the moose last night, and further to that moose chat here's a topical news story which made me laugh on the drive home (I was listening to the radio, not casually reading a paper whilst coming down the M40....)

Bazz, informative article in the Guardian, but I thought the one who is supposed to hide behind the tree was the human!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed the night out. Due to Liz's work commitments and rehersals I am out for the next two weeks. Sorry.
In case some people doubted the veracity of my wildlife encounters here is some info on the cassowary we retreated from (probably not the actual one).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_Cassowary
and the close encounter in the wilds of Elephant & Castle

Enjoy the football everyone and I will see you when I can.

They are different names for the same animal sir. Europeans call them elk, Americans call them moose.
There you go Sydders- another top moose fact!
If anyone wants a lift down from Tannsfeld Road/Newlands Park then PM me on here.
