OK, i'll ask for responses by 6pm on Monday13th. If we sneak over the line , i'll book it later in the evening and confirm Monday pm.

This should give people adequate time to respond/recover/consult social diary etc etc

As long as you avoid dribbling you won't need the bibs.

Seriously, you are welcome to borrow the bibs. I'll drop them off with Columbus (if he's playing), otherwise feel free to pick them up early next week.

ok, we have 8 so far, so i'll book it for the 15th. I'll confirm over the weekend.
If we don't quite manage the full compliment of players, I'll dip into the spare funds.

Don't let the weather forecast put you off (occasional light showers). It's too late to cancel.
And can we get there before 8pm for me to sort monies?(£6 each) the cash has to be handed over before they let us on the pitch.

I've found another player, so we should have ten.

This has to be one of the most successful threads in a very long time. With over 200 responses and chugging nicely towards 16,000 views.

Well done for tonight.

I have looked at recent threads and we have more views than the combined Sydenham Arts Festival Forum. Can 5-a-side really solve all problems in Sydenham?

*) Can the Greyhound site be redeveloped as a 5-a-side centre?
*) Would this give commercial impetus to the area?
*) Can Sydenham field a 5-a-side team capable of serving immediate justice on street drinkers and residents of Miriam Lodge? (out of sight of the referee)
*) Would an STF team be capable of crushing a TDA team?

Interesting thoughts.

Another very pleasant evening. We are approaching the point where a free match will be on the cards. However, a few people have said they can't make next week. So the two issues i have are:

1) I want to ensure that the regular players get to participate in the 'free' match.
2) I need to leave a bit in the kitty for matches next month where we may be slightly down on numbers.

We have around £60 in the kitty at the moment. If anyone wants to audit the accounts at the end of the season, then feel free.
I really enjoyed tonight and we seem to be very fortunate with the weather so far. **kiss of death**

Please post availability for the 22nd. I will book for next week when we reach 8 confirmed players. So the sooner you can let me know, the sooner we can confirm.
(and keep viewing this thread. It would be good to make this positive thread also one of the most popular)
