Another suggestion though it is a little way away - have you been to Christmas Tree Farm in Downe, just outside of orpington? about 20 mins in the car and it is a great petting farm. no cost of entry and a bucket of feed is around £2.

If you fancy a good child friendly pub lunch there is the toby carvery on the way back in west wickham.
