Yes, it was on last night - despite constant drizzle that escalated into real rain for the finale. This year the lighting electrics are more robust so it really is a case of whether the weather is too awful to sit through for 2 hours.
Indeed last night the audience outdid the performers in that solid British spirit to endure anything the English summer could throw at them!
We did have to modify some bits a little - the wooden blocks were too wet to be used safely. I don't think we needed more dead bodies ...
Better forecast tonight. But blankets are always a good idea as the temperature drops.

Mr P and I went last night and thought it was very funny. I don't know what some of the harsh critics on here were expecting, it was a farce, so rather silly, but we like that sort of thing.
Some of the acting was very good too, especially Dr Watson and the woman playing the multitude of different ladies, she was hilarious. I agree it was a tad too long and the ending needed tightening up, but otherwise a good night out.

Yep, can only reiterate what Poppy has said. It was a shame the weather put such a dampener on things... but very well done for the actors and backstage for ploughing on to the finale in what must have been very trying (wet and slippery!) circumstances.

Only shame was that we only had limited time to eat and enjoy it - it's a lot better in there in the evening when you don't have to rush off!
To The Clown - there are several Sofras and the one on St Christopher's place isn't one I've visited but will certainly look out for it when I am in that area. Just checked and the Covent Garden one is on Tavistock Street.
