I think the strike may have hit the tall Poplar trees that line Alexander Park next to the secret Police facility.
Or maybe the Met used the cover of a lightening storm to test out a new crowd control device.

I remember the building before it was a SECRET Police facility, it was Grundig's Electrical Offices. Actually used as offices for a number of years and a huge employer in the area.
Will there be a sign to "Secret Police HQ" I wonder?

no, I can assure you that's correct...unless it has changed use in the past couple of months. They do a lot of Audio Visual Work and support there. It's public knowledge...
