Mayow Park - the good news

Probably not as a running track, although we've thought about it along with cycling. Personally, I feel it would take the enjoyment away from simply walking around and enjoying the park as a whole. It might even put off regular park users if there were lanes of runners and cyclists! It might be an idea to display information such as the length of the track in the noticeboard, though....
The arena at Ladywell's meant to be good and then there's always Crystal Palace when you're a bit more experienced!

The obvious thing to spend the money on is buying a few skate / bike ramps.
They're now in loads of local parks I go to around the country.
They're not hugely pretty - essentially metal frames and smooth steel ramps, but do seem to be extremely popular. And easy to assemble / remove, unlike their concrete predecessors.
