I'm in for this Wed. I know you've only got the 5s booked and we're up to 13 by my count, so if it's easier to stick to the 5s pitch I don't mind sitting out this week to avoid overcrowding.

Sorry guys, still not fit for football. Was ill just before Christmas and still on meds. Should be free for the 19th though with a little luck.

Gentlemen,
The boss is poorly and has been in contact with Lem and I. I/We wish him well but this week it's Lem in charge and me with the half-time oranges (or in this case mincepies).
I've just called Goals and upgraded us to a 7s pitch so all are welcome - that includes you naturally Mr Elcombe!
So, any more to take us to 14 or more?

Just to reassure you that this is a temporary arrangement, not a Hodgson/Dalglish situation!
Get well soon, Donny.

thanks - I'll be there and am looking forward to the first mince pie of 2011 - though maybe after the game (not sure I will be able to run if I have one at half-time) if there are any left...

Nice work, will look forward to stretching the legs on the big pitch tomorrow!
I've left a voicemail with a mate to see if he fancies joining us to try and get us to 14/15.

Cool, well I've made 14 mincepies. Nobody is under any olbigation to eat my fare. I would have brought them to a game pre-Xmas but we broke early - so if people don't mind I'm keen for them to be devoured now; even if it's not the most seasonal offering and Xmas seems a long time past!
@ Alex: IF you're not sure as to whom to look out for/directions etc text or call me on 07531 493337 and I'll let you know where/who we are.

The Goals centre has a dedicated car park, but it can get pretty busy. There's plenty of space on the road if needs be.

This may well be stating the obvious but you're not wearing studs or blades Alex? Normal trainers or dedicated astroturf trainers are what's needed. Sorry if that seems as if I'm treating you as a simpleton!

Well, the first game of 2011 was played at a decent pace. Well done all.
Ulysses and I will continue our joint caretaker manager role next week in Donny's absence. Please post your availability for a game on Wednesday at 8:30pm. If possible, please confirm your availability by close of play on Friday.
I'm in.

In for next week.
Lem, would you be able to keep the receipt for this week? Although I presented the voucher for 10% off I don't think they took it off the bill. They have also increased the fees. The 7s is now £89.75. Just something to bear in mind; that if we're less than 13 players we're not covering the cost and the kitty will suffer. Same for the 5s, at £64 now if we're 10 or less then we'll be eating into the slush fund a little each week.

Yeah, me and Steve in for next week.
Shame about the price rises but I think all will agree 7's is a much more enjoyable game and runaround so if the numbers stay as impressive as they were last night it'd be great to stay put on there.
