Hope you had a good game. A record turnout and I'm absent for the first time in ages. Should I take the hint? :D

Any more takers for the curry next week, just in case we need to amend the booking?

Phil & Ben (Swartie and Joe Pineapples; not our own version of the flower-pot men) said when we were having a drink after that they'd be up for it.

I'm not confirming on their behalf but they seemed keen. It'd be nice if most of those who were there last night plus Dave, Ali, Chris E etc could make it. That'd be a nice number and a decent group.

Re: Continuing up to Xmas. Perhaps we can take a straw-poll at the curry but I'm keen to keep playing. I've already made the Xmas pud and cake (twice!) so know I need to be as slim as poss before piling on the padding during Xmas gorging!

It's alright Phil, I won't shout - I know you'll pass it to the wrong side of the table anyway. Then kick me, breaking my leg in two places. You'd better aim your kick high though, as I'm wearing my shinpads to the restaurant.

The event that prevented me from coming on wednesday has now been cancelled so please add another chair to the table, Lems.

And please don't ask me to pass the poppadoms , I'll only end up throwing them at the ceiling.

Anyone going for a warm-up at the Dolphin beforehand?

Could be swayed - assuming the KPR massive will all be having a quick stiffener?

Don't think we should be late to Gurkha's like last time though...

Confirmed for the curry:
- Ulysses
- Fatbackfour
- AliB
- Trickster
- Sydders
- biscuitman1978
- chrelcombe
- bazwaldo (TBC)
- Diamondmaker (assumed)
- Donny
- cyclesteve
- Marathon
- Swartie
- Joe P (TBC)
- Columbus

Have I missed anyone? Tarbs? Parklife? Droidy?

(Ulysses - looks like we'll be 14 give or take one or two, so you might want to ask the restaurant to add a couple of seats. I'll leave it to your better judgement.)

Will pop into the Dolphin for a swift one if I can, but I may not be back in time.

Cracking turnout, well done Lem. I thought booking a table for 14 was a bit over-zealous but we should be good for that number of thereabouts...

I remember Parklife asking about it a few weeks ago but I assume he still cannot make it a it is a Weds, shame. I'll knock on his door tonight and double-check. Would be great if Droidy could make it but I guess Tarbs is still at his studies on Weds night? No Middlesborough, surprised as he's a regular?

@Diamondmaker: Are you still the gaffer and if so what's the kitty sitting at or is Donny now in charge of it? Should surely cover one drink at least?

@Chris:

Table booked for 8PM. I'll be in the Dolphin from about 7.

Preprandial; nice long word. My all time fav is still sesquipedalian.
