ps 2... no idea why Baz has turned into a magic face, I don't want you to think there is any favouritism going on. I am too technically inept to even know how to add one of those smiley things so it's a mystery.

It's when you hit 8 plus )

Anyhoo, 13 on a 5s does sound crowded but I'll let the gaffer decide, naturally.

@Diamondmaker are Goals being ar*eholes about the 7s still? Shame they don't do 8PM bookings as it sounds as if it would the ideal time for almost everyone.

Yes, they've messed it up completely. I'll book it in person from now on and pay them on the night. To add insult to injury, they actually rang me at the weekend wondering if I wanted a pitch! not the brightest I feel.

I'm busy at work at the moment, if you want me to stand down on Wednesday that will give you six a side.

Guys,

Apologies but I now have to pull out of tonight's game as it has taken me two hours to get to work, I have a ton of stuff on at work so will be here late then it will probably take 2 hours back to Sydenham, so if Fatbackfour is still available that leaves you with 6 a-side. Sorry, and let me know if it earns me a fine.

See you next week,
Cheers Dickie

In for next week

BTW, who's taking over being the gaffer in the new year? I proposed doing 4 month shifts before and no-one objected, so someone will need to take over after Christmas. We have enough regulars - any volunteers (apart from Lem and Greg that is).

Diamond "scored 4 and set up the other 2" maker

I'm in for Wednesday.

And just to confirm, Christmas curry is now Wednesday 24 November 2010, not Wedneaday 1 December 2010 as previously agreed.

Darn. We moved it to suit one person and now another can't make it. Let's talk about it next week. Maybe we'll choose another night entirely!

Seriously, don't start moving the dates around - thats just going to piss everyone off and there's bound to be someone who won't be able to make the new date. Leave it as the 24th and I can't wait for curry night, Xmas 2011!

Good game on Wed - I'm afraid I'm out for the next 2 weeks with work stuff.

Curry-wise, I should be free on 24th but am definitely not free on 1 Dec.

In a sort of "build it and they will come" way (what a truly awful film!?) just tell me which Wednesday/Thursday you want me and if I have something arranged, I'll move it.

Is there ABSOLUTELY no way way can play on Weds as per usual and have a curry on Thursday? Or is that too many consecutive evening passes?

In for November10.

Morning all, I'm in for next week.
I am 50/50 for a curry on the 24th but really hope to make it.
I have realised that I can no longer do the 1st as will be in Leicester overnight.

I'd been happy to take up the gaffer role a couple of years ago but just don't have the 'bandwidth' at present with 3 nippers under 5! Sorry.

I'm running a conference tues/weds so can't say for sure if I'll make it until late on weds so don't count on me.

I'll throw my hat back in the ring for "managing" the next quarter.
