If we get to 20 are we playing subs or would you like me to look at getting 2 5-a-side pitches?

I’d like to keep to playing red v black if possible.

Given appalling lack of fitness and gammy knee I’m pro subs option but obviously happy to go with the majority

Smithy is in, but has been injured so not sure if we will last.

That makes 21. So, three options.

1. 8v9 with two subs each (about 10mins off field)

2. Book two 5-a-side pitches.

3. Divide everyone into three teams of 7, then play three 20 minute matches (about 20 mins off field)

I think I prefer option 1.

If we do go with one of the option where we only have one pitch then I think I should probably charge a little less, maybe £8, as you may not get the full hour.

I went back tonight, armed with secateurs, and retrieved one of the balls, I also found two others which I will bring along. I think secateurs may be added to the kit bag for the future.
