Again you make assumptions that are more than often not correct. I am 99% certain voted for Sunny Jim in 79 , or for his local MP , who I think was Chris Price?

If apology due it is from you I think.

In an ideal world it would be the solution.
The Euro is surely a form of collective monetary system, although EU not really a collective
society as per recent events. Possibly another reason for the Euro suffering?

The Bus drivers union is a collective however, any news on their case?

Re Euro. What a mess. I back Germany not wishing to through their hard earned cash on the club med. However I also blame Germany for entering such a currency which would imply you all had to support each other and have same Fiscal policy. Sort of 1-1.

No one else including IMF should bail out club med. They are in a single currency zone and if it is to survive should be supported by other Euro members.
Otherwise next time a city or state in USA goes bankrupt , rather than be bailed out by the FED they would apply to the IMF.
