Antic & PTB Goldsmiths Arms Fete, Penge 9/8

Post by Bovine Juice »

Hello.

Antic Brewery will be hosting an Fete in association with the Penge Tourist Board on Saturday 09th August to celebrate the impending re-opening of the Goldsmiths Arms. The PTB are helping Antic to identify local businesses, artists, community groups, performers etc who would like the opportunity to take part. There is strictly limited space at the event but please do feel free to contact us at ptb-team@outlook.com if you feel you might be able to contribute something special on the day. If successful this could become an annual Goldsmiths Arms Fete! Rock on Penge! :)

Thanks!

Very impressive we will have an Antic Pub in Ponge. But seriously , Ponge Tourist Board , you are having a laugh.

Any idea when it is due to open.

The PTB name is semi-ironic Eagle.

End of August for pub.

The Penge Tourist Board is a great name.

Talking of names, why did you choose Eagle over Brian, Eagle/Brian? Are you from the USofA? Bald? or a genuine A bird of prey with amazing typing skills?

Mundane reason , a Palace supporter of old. However when I supported them actively they were The Glaziers.

Good news about the Pub. Ponge could be a new world centre for Tourism. What hasn't it got.

Oh leenewham, please lighten up. A few long standing Sydhamites were delighted to be on the Ponge border 8) I do agree with you though that PTB as a name is brilliant - unreserved congrats to whoever thought of it - or should I say Cheers! as will be raising a pint soon :)

We can't claim total credit. The South Norwood Tourist Board got there first and we thought it was rather splendid too.
