Nominations for the Lewisham Business Awards are now open. All applications must be in by 1 February 2008. If you’d like to nominate yourself or another business, visit http://www.lewisham.gov/businessawards for an entry form and send your entries to the address below. A panel of independent judges will meet to select a winner and runners up for each award. There will be a cash prize of £5,000 for the overall winner, who will also be entered into the South London Business Awards 2008. Winners will be announced at the ceremony on 3 April 2008 at Blackheath Halls.
Kirkdale Bookshop have won an award and we have been runners-up. Put Sydenham on the map and nominate a great local business now!

Who do you love? (sponsored by Apogee)
The key to business success is excellent customer service which results in loyal customers who return again and again, recommending your products or services to people they know. The winner will be the most popular business in the borough as voted for by customers. This year, residents will be asked to nominate their favourite ‘independent shop’ (shops with no more than nine in their chain). The independent shop with the most nominations will win.
