Filmed over two years by first time director Marc Singer and many of the film’s subjects, Dark Days is an intimate portrait of the subterranean world of tunnel dwellers — a group of men and women living in an abandoned area of New York City’s underground railway system.
It may also be possible to see it here in real life, although it could of course just have been some kids sleeping out in a tent before going off on some adventure that I saw last night in the shadows, walking home.
It struck me whoever was in there was rather vulnerable, so in this case I did report it, unlike in the case of the illegal council flatt subletting I heard of recently.
