We're nearly there...keep supporting Sydenham Arts Festival!

Post by safdirector »

Thanks to everyone who has already supported Sydenham Arts Festival by becoming a Friend of SAF and making a donation. You can find out how to support us here:

http://sydenhamartsfestival.co.uk/2014/become-a-friend/

So we're delighted to announce that after some very generous support from L&Q Housing, Sydenham High School and more than £2000 from Friends, we will be going ahead with our amazing closing event, the free open-air concert at Home Park on Sun 20 July, featuring local legends Glenn Tilbrook, Janet Kay & Carroll Thompson. Details here:

There are lots of other ways to support Sydenham Arts Festival:

Become a Festival Maker, and volunteer your time as a steward, box office assistant, volunteer team leader, tech crew member (roadie) or general helper. Complete the online form here:

Buy your tickets online now

or from the box office at Kirkdale Bookshop, which opens on Mon 23 June, 10am-1pm (Mon-Fri) & 10am-4pm (Sat). Tickets are selling fast, so don't miss out. And if you want to catch the four-part community musical TILL THE BOYS COME HOME, reserve your free tickets now by emailing boxoffice@sydenhamartsfestival.co.uk or phone 020 3659 0551

More about the shows here:

If you'd like to take part in the shows, there is an open audition this coming Saturday, 21 June, 10.30am at the Hillcrest Community Centre in Sydenham Hill. Details are on the forum already.

If you haven't already picked up your festival brochure and Artists Trail broadsheet, you can find them at cafes, shops and libraries.

See you on Sat 5 July - as SAF 2014 launches with the incredible, free STREET CELEBRATION event in the high street!

And a very, very special thanks to the lovely person who made an anonymous £5000 cash donation to us at Barclays Bank last week - it will make a really big difference to us. Thank you!
