Festival looking for young film-makers!

Post by safdirector »

Sydenham Arts Festival is looking for student filmmakers to create short films of rehearsal and performance footage of our World War I community musical TILL THE BOYS COME HOME, to be broadcast in a one-off installation/performance on Sat 19 July 2014, and as part of our documentation of the project.

You would need to film around 8-12 scenes with professional actors, edit the footage and create a number of videos to be shown on TV screens during the show. You will need your own camera & editing equipment. As this is primarily a community project, there is no fee but you would be credited both in the programme of the show and on the dedicated website http://sydenhamartsfestival.co.uk/2014/ ... come-home/ which is currently in development. The project has been supported by Heritage Lottery and the videos will be kept to provide a legacy for the show.

We're also looking for film-makers to document other festival events, so if interested please email adminassistant@sydenhamartsfestival.co.uk

Thanks
The SAF Team
