Burglary Lawrie Park Gardens

Hi everyone,

Just a warning to neighbours - we live in a first floor flat on Lawrie Park Gardens which was broken into sometime during the day on Friday 6th June. They entered through the (first floor!) balcony door, after coming through the neighbour's back garden. The usual ransacking, stealing of electronic items and worst of all they found car keys and made off with my car, probably to carry all their loot

If anyone saw anything suspicious that day we'd be very grateful if they could report it to the police.

Please be vigilant of your own properties - we have now upgraded all locks!

Always hide car keys in better places as nowadays they are the first thing they look for.

If they took the car they might have been caught on CCTV. Has the car turned up? Where it turns up could narrow route for the CCTV search.

If you had an alarm and someone heard it that could further narrow down the time for a CCTV trawl.
