St Bartholomew's Church Christmas Evening Celebration

Hi all

After an enjoyable and successful champagne evening/auction in the summer to raise money for the rewiring of St Bartholomew's Church - we thought we would do it again for Christmas! I know some of this forum came last time when Juwlz auctioned her amazing Pissaro copy of St Barts church. We hope to see you again if possible.

So here is the invite:

We would like to invite all members, friends and
supporters of St Bartholomew's Church to come and join
us for a little "Christmas Affair" At St Bartholomews Church
on Friday 7th December 2007 7.30 - 10.30pm
Dress Code: Black Tie
There will be bubbly, canapes and classical music,
auction and more...
All we ask is a donation towards our fundraising.
If you would like to come please PM me and I will add you to the list.

Sounds good Kate, a worthy cause but you know, I think 'black tie' might put people off. Just a thought for next year.

Further to some people's valid concerns we have changed the dress code for this event to Smart.

Hope to see some Sydenham Forum people there!! Thanks to those who have said they are coming already.

thanks to everyone who came last night

hope everyone enjoyed the music, wine and food. thanks to the Scarlet Divas and St Bartholomews church choir - and Father Michael for playing jazz for us while we supped our sparkling wine.

I believe we can now afford the first stage of the rewiring of St Barts so thanks to all who have donated!
