Restrictions on HGV's in Central London is long overdue. And their absence a national scandal. Fingers crossed he pulls through.

I often winge about the danger presented to cyclists by these things but not far off 100 pedestrians a year are killed by HGVs in London.

When I lived in Battersea I saw a skip truck hit an elderly gentleman on a zebra crossing on Prince of Wales Drive. Had flashbacks for years after that. He died instantly.
