Yes, it is great to have regular updates on what is going on, as options change so often - that is the difficulty of the Council website which can at times be badly out of date and leave out a few new brilliant initiatives. At times there are "one off" events (for example in the Library) which could easily be advertised here as newsflashes with maximum impact

Mazzer - you are obviously very, very good at this ( ) so would you consider doing an all at a glance page again so we can then go on enriching as time goes by?

Admin - thank you from me too re the pinning of the brilliant thread on ... what is it... fabulous family outings near us or something similar. I wondered.... would it be asking too much to pin this one too? There are, as Rararachael says, so many new things springing up contstantly, and so, so many new families currently moving to Sydenham, this information is vital for old and new.

Many thanks to all

NCT run courses in the area:

Antenatal: 'Essentials' courses and 'Signature' courses in a variety of formats and prices
Postnatal Courses: 12 hour x 6 week courses for parents of babies aged 0-8 months
Introducing Solids Workshops: 1 X 2 hour session for parents, carers, grandparents etc of babies aged 4-6months

Also local branches are Beckenham & Borders, and Dulwich and District. Check out their website pages on the main NCT website: http://www.nct.org.uk for more info, or look for them on facebook

Each branch has a drop in bumps/baby/toddler group

Hope to see you soon!

Maria, and others, there is no need to use a clumsy thread for this sort of information because a very clever lady has made a brilliant website: http://se26kids.com/ it has everything you need to know about playgroups and what's on for kids in the area.

Enjoy!
