Funding available for creating green spaces

Do you know of an unloved space in Sydenham that could be developed into a green oasis?

These spaces should have trees and greenery; they should be open to all; they should have places to sit and relax and for people to come together.

Groundwork is accepting applications from community groups who wish to create their very own 'Pocket Park'. Grants of between £5,000 and £20,000 are available, apply until 10 March 2014.
