On 14 December 2013 at approximately 19:30 hours a 25 year old woman had got off the bus P4 at London Road, SE23 outside the Horniman Museum to wait for the bus 185 to take her to the Catford Tavern.
When she sat at the bus stop she was joined by a man. The man tried to engage the woman in conversation and when she did not respond he sexually touched her, grabbing her chest and pinning her arms by the side trying to force himself on her.
Rejecting his advances and shaken, she boarded the 185 bus. The man followed her on to the bus and further tried to engage her in conversation. Once the woman exited the bus the man did not follow her.
The man is described as having a North African appearance, in his early 20s, 5ft 8 inches tall, with short black hair. Wearing dark clothing.
