Sydenham library has a great cafe!

Many of you probably know that our Library had a makeover last year. It now looks really goregous, bright and warm and shows off the architecture of this Carnegie Library.

But there is also a great cafe which serves tasty coffee - REAL coffee (see the machine in the first photo) served by fully trained baristas.

Mona also serves up lovely food on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursday mornings, from cakes and sandwiches to delicious hot food.

There is also a toddler's table as the second photo shows.

Use it or lose it!

...there are also lots of comfy sofas to lounge on as you read and sip coffee.
Plus free computers with internet access (obv)...and loads of books and audio books too.

What happened to the pocket park they were going to make over in front of the Library?

It is still going to happen, not sure when though - I believe they are going to call it the Literary Plaza.
