Christmas is coming and we all have a bit of time on our hands so - just looking back over the last few posts....
Time for Christmas Party Games?
Top of the (my) Board of recent STF Posters over the past few months????
Eagle - 5264 - who started posting in October 2004
Tim - 3586 - March 2005
Admin - 1856 - September 2004
Michael - 939 - September 2006
Pat (me) - 455 - October 2004
Chris Best - 279 - May 2005
Mary - 260 - Feb 2008
Where do you fit in,..??
Maybe Admin has more accurate details??
Not at all sure what any of this proves but does anyone want to join in the "Leader Board" (in reverse order, leader at the bottom)? A few have obviously given up and fallen off en route.. Sorry, Eagle, we have to start somewhere...
Seasons greetings
Pat
Christmas - the Numbers Game
Re: Christmas - the Numbers Game
Dear Pat
One is reluctant to post again now you are tallying my good self. Hard to believe next year brings up the decade of The Forum.
It indeed has been very quiet over the last few days , with regulars like Man with a view, obviously not having any more views. Just as well considering what he usually comes out with.
Taking out the admin , who I would imagine mostly administrating , Tim and I nearly 9000 between us. What gems these must be , someone could write a best seller , no doubt.
Apologies if I often remember the best times in Sydenham as my childhood in the 50's , with great establishments like Boag's , The Record Forum , Parker's , Grout's etc etc etc. Sorry Record Forum not until 60's , you had to buy records up stairs in Boots prior to that.
Seasons greetings to all.

I'm please to say there are plenty of others above me including Lee, CaptainCC, Robin, Rachael, both the Annies, marymck, and 14BR.

Most of the prolific posters belong to the band I call 'The Usual Suspects'; whose willingness to debate on a multitude of subjects keeps this forum entertaining. I suspect that if you measured by words posted, rather than number of posts, that Tim would be ahead of Eagle. Not that Tim is verbose, but he does give detailed arguments, often with quotations and references; all very scholarly and welcome.
