Sydenham Badminton

Does anyone belong to, or know anyone who belongs to, the Badminton Club at Sydenham High School. I know there's a club up there that play through certain months of the year, including now, and I would really like to start Badminton. I just want to know if beginniners are welcome? I played it years ago at school and was told I had a 'natural ability', God knows if that's stayed with me through the years, but I'd like to give it another go!

If anyone has info about this club, could you let me know.

I would really much to start to play badminton! I am a bit rusty at the moent but living in Sydenham and I would join a group and play once a week if possible.

I think that when I go to the gym at The Bridge on Kangley Bridge Road, that they have a badminton club that plays possibly on a Thursday.

In the Sydenham Life (think that's what it's called) paper, the number for Britannic House Badminton Club is in an ad on the second-to-last page. There's a mobile number and they're saying they need Badminton players. Am going to give them a ring this weekend.

If anyone is still interested, I went to the Badminton in Sydenham last night, and it's really good. If you go along it's £5 for three trial sessions, then if you want to join properly they'd work out how much for the rest of their season.

I'd recommend dropping by, it's in Sydenham High School's PE Dept, very mixed ages and very friendly.
