New classrooms and a fully equipped new multi media suite at Brockley Rise Centre will be officially opened by the Mayor of Lewisham, Sir Steve Bullock, on Thursday 28 November.
As part of the celebrations on the opening day, a range of activities will be on offer from 2–7pm including making Christmas tree glass decorations, assembling glass jewellery and trying new decorative techniques for Christmas cakes. There will also be the chance to design your own Christmas card in the new multi media suite.
The open day will also give attendees the chance to find out more about Community Education courses starting in January. There is a huge range on offer whether you want to make a career move, get a qualification or try something new. Subject experts will be available to give further advice. You might even want to buy a course for a friend or family member as a Christmas gift.
