Hallowe'en in Sydenham

Post by Pat Trembath »

What a great evening! What a fantastic atmosphere! So much fun and enjoyment! Well done to everyone involved - the children, the parents and grandparents and all the traders/businesses who took part. There must have been 300 children parading up and down Sydenham Road in all their Hallowe'en finery collecting a variety of goodies in various receptacles from our generous shopkeepers and local businesses.

Well done especially to Cllr Chris Best who has organised this event over the past six years which goes from strength to strength. It takes a lot of work and commitment to get such a buy in from all concerned. A number of us know how much pavement pounding Chris and her cohorts have done over the past few weeks. So a very public thank you to Chris (and also to the Grim Reaper who borrowed Santa's bell, yet again).

Seconded. Absolutely fabulous and not to be missed. The Grim Reaper told me "We have an appointment tonight". I asked if I could postpone the meeting ;)

300 is going some! Well done to everyone involved.

I went down as a ghoul, but didn't actually need any special makeup to do that

I see Paul Treacy in The Cafe is "on it" with his great photos *thumbup*
