Halloween in Sydenham

I am wondering if anyone is aware of anything taking place this year for Halloween in Sydenham. Last year a fab event was organised for the kids buy the local traders and I would like to know if its going to happen again this year?

My 5 year old daughter loved the events that took place last year and it had a real community feeling about it, with all the local shops and families taking part.

I've received this info from the Sydenham Society (apparently local schools have received flyers):

Two events to celebrate Hallowe'en

Sydenham Traders annual Children's Fancy Dress and Hallowe'en event in Sydenham Road. Starting from Kirkdale Bookshop at 4pm, the event continues throughout the high street at participating shops until 5.15pm. Fancy dress will be judged back at the Bookshop at 5.30 pm. The event is sponsored by, and prizes will come from, Sainsbury's

Halloween Bat Walk in Mayow Park. Starts at 6 pm from the main entrance in Mayow Road - look out for the pumpkins at the entrance!

I have not had anything from my daughters school but they are having their own event the same evening! last year the shops had posters in windows but I have not noticed any this year. Any way thank you once again.
