Please could the person who is repeatedly removing my BOUNCERS posters from the noticeboard near the Zanzibar Nightclub kindly refrain from doing so?
I have spoken to the Zanzibar's Manager and I am quite entitled to display them there.
If this person genuinely feels they have good reason to remove these and would like to contact me to explain their grudge, then please do so at sponprods@gmail.com
Thank you

Could they be Bouncers Stuart.
I am amazed they would think anyone using this site would vandalise a poster.

Perhaps it was some of the Feral kids that go to the Paxton in Gypsy Hill
(Just pulling your leg Eagle, I'm writing with a cheeky grin this time).

A big thanks to Jonathan (and all involved) for doing this, and the bookshop for being such a great social hub, and Zanzibar for allowing it to be staged there. I thing it's a brilliant idea, it's great that local businesses and creatives are working together and we should encourage more of this.
It builds community, it's good for business, it's good for Sydenham.
P.S. I want Eagle to stay. I don't agree with all he says, but I respect his right to say it (and my right to argue against it!).

No - this is all a publicity stunt for the show - to boost demand. Sounds a classic example to draw attention to the show by the Director.
I could be wrong though.
James.
Edit - and most likely am wrong - just a thought that occurred to me when reading the original post

Categorically not a publicity stunt, though thanks for suggesting it. After all, any publicity is good publicity.
I'm actually really annoyed that at present I have no means of publicising the show outside the venue, since someone seems so determined to remove whatever I put up there.
Still, if it gets people talking about the show, I guess I owe this person an ironic favour

SInce I hadn't come across this poster on my travels (and don't normally walk as far as Zanzibar) I took the liberty of posting within this thread.
Have you also asked local retailers to display your poster. Eg Fresh and Fruity the popular and friendly green grocer is currently displaying a poster in his shop for the show 'Once'. You may already be in several spots on the high street and I have just missed it whilst battling with a buggy, baby and feral toddler

Re: Please refrain from removing my BOUNCERS posters
Thanks Hannah for reposting the flyer and poster. Yes, many traders have kindly displayed the poster on their premises, including Fresh and Fruity. Sadly, the two large posters I put up at Sydenham DIY and Hill Top Café were removed when I went back a few days later - not by the traders, I should add. So somebody with a grudge has gone around removing them! Very sad, and a little bit mystifying.
If anyone sees somebody removing one of my posters, please let me know!
Jonathan
