Freelancer/home worker meet-ups?

I used to see an ad on the Virtual Norwood forum for a weekly meet-up for freelancers and other people working from home so they could get out of the house and talk to people rather than turning quietly mad with the isolation. Does anyone know of anything similar in the Sydenham area?

I thought there was one in the Blue Mountain on a certain Friday of the month or perhaps it was weekly that I read about on this forum ages ago? If not I am sure you could start one and see if anyone comes along - there are quite a few work from home/freelance types that use this forum
