Reporting idiotic drivers
Cycling home this evening I found a car, on the wrong side of the road, heading straight for me. Is there any effective way of reporting this sort of thing? I have the number plate, the time and location, so it may be on some CCTV - it was just leaving the gyratory system at Greenwich.

The website doesn't describe it very well. But The Met are actively encouraging people to report this kind of thing using this service. It's an intelligence gathering database so he may just get a letter, maybe nothing. But if he is a repeat offender he can expect a knock on the door and prosecution. A report of mine led to the Met prosecuting a particularly unpleasant white van man.
