There's a petition to get the currently closed down Alexandra pub made part of the conservation area so that it has to reopen as (a hopefully lot better!) pub (ideally one run by Late Knights!).

Always been a rubbish pub but if run by our local brewers would be worth going to.

I have tasted their beers , unfortunately not in Ponge , they are excellent.

They're currently running a pop-up pub in Gypsy Hill, Beer Rebellion. Really great beer, including about three of their own and nice vibe.

Have you tried the great ales at The Ravensbourne , opposite Lewisham Hospital. Superb.......

It's literally opposite the station, Eagle. My favourite current pub though is the Catford Bridge Tavern, formerly the old poophole the Copperfield, done up by Antic.
