spoke with my "postie" yesterday.She said the sorting office would be moving to forest hill possibly in october.Does this mean that yet another of our older historic buildings is to be demolished.I'm sure there is a date on the front of the building.Anybody know
Gutted about this. It's a two minute walk from me at the moment. Also gutted that Amazon stopped using the post office services. They now use Parcelnet who sub out to someone self employed (so if you wanted to collect then you have to go to their home!!??)
Cheers for the info on the date and yes it will be inconvenient for people collecting parcels,but has anybody else heard what is going to happen to the building itself.
