anyone recommend a good/reliable builder?
We need someone to do a kitchen/diner refit. Would involve replacing floor/removing tiles/replastering walls/fitting new kitchen. Any recommendations?

Can tell you not to use a Polish builder called Chris of Chris & Chris builders. He & his team did our house and tho I thought they were great to start with he has turned into classic nighmare. Every sink has leaked, loo leaked, radiator leaked, electric underfloor heating stopped working and he has disappeared, not answering my calls or texts.
Good luck!

We have had the same firm of builders working for us well before we moved to Sydenham. Daniel, who runs the firm, is nothing short of a genius, and whatever quote he gives us we implicitly trust and accept, as he is not just extraordinarily talented (as are the men who work for him) but also rigorously honest. He is in fact doing up our kitchen in 4 weeks time.
He has done a lot of work locally (not just for us) but he does not live locally - in case that is a draw back for you.
