Not the weather, but great to see the pavilion refurbishment is getting going

Although it might be an idea to put a flyer up outside the building, saying it's going to be improved.
I walked past this yesterday, and the main thing I noticed was the "danger demolition" sign - which probably sends out completely the wrong message about what's about to happen!

I live just across the road from the park and also work from home. See you there, Rod?
Maybe the Sydenham Writers' meeting could move there in the summer. Then I might actually make it occasionally.

Hello All.
Its proving difficult to find out definitely what the plans are for this pavilion.
Is anyone able to explain exactly what the plans are?
If there really is going to be a fully fledged cafe?
If so, is it too early to know any details?
And finally, is there an ETA on completion?
Sydenham has been screaming out for a good cafe for a number of years now.
If they do this well and also include good food, I would imagine it could be very popular!

I seem to remember a cafe in that Pavillion when I came to Sydenham in 85 but maybe wrong.
