Living Streets AGM

Post by Tim Lund »

I wouldn't normally mention a meeting of a national group such as this, but I've been a member of Living Streets for some years now, and it was involved at an early stage in developing the plans for Sydenham Road improvements now going in. But today I receive the notice for the AGM March 14th in Toynbee Hall, and I'll probably go to hear the speaker, the Director of the Public Health Excellence Centre at NICE talking about evidence based approaches to health improvement, which in this context should address issues to do with planning for greater pedestrian use of our streets. Seems relevant to various threads here, but - I know this is a bit ridiculous - I've given up speculative or controversial postings for Lent :)
