Feb 23rd: Have your say on Albion Millennium Green

Albion Millennium Green is a lovely little oasis of mixed open space and woodland where once there was a tennis club, along side the railway between Forest Hill and Sydenham, at the end of Albion Villas Road. The Friends group is having its second AGM 11.00 to 1.00, Saturday February 23rd in the community room at Forest Hill Pools, and we welcome everyone who is interested in our Green, or would like to learn more about it, and what the Friends group is doing. We are also delighted to welcome Cllr Susan Wise, cabinet member responsible not only for Parks and Open spaces, but also housing, which is particularly relevant because of proposal to build more Council house on the adjacent Longfield Crescent Estate (there is a drop in session about this at Forest Hill libraries tomorrow afternoon and evening - February 11th)
