The National Luketian Museum is coming to Sydenham

Post by safdirector »

Spontaneous Productions (The Three Musketeers, Importance of Being Earnest etc) is bringing a taste of Eastern Europe to Sydenham this December.

Taking over the two back rooms of the brand new Sydenham Community Hub ("Jill"), for four days, they'll be transporting audiences into one of the strangest museums ever seen.

The National Luketian Museum of Naturals History, Puppetry, Space Technologie and Farming 2012 World Tour: Only UK Stopover

is an immersive installation/theatre experience that is much better seen than described.

Details here:
http://www.spontaneousproductions.co.uk/future.html

Open for just four days, Thursday 13 to Sunday 16 December 2012, you can visit between 11am-1pm & 2-3pm, plus a special late night opening 6-9pm on Friday 14. Address: 27 Sydenham Road.

Museum entry is FREE - though donations are very welcome!

Please note that the museum is not suitable for young children or those of a nervous disposition

Just been- although there are only 74 minutes to go , I would encourage everyone that has not been to go (and very soon, obviously).
Excellent interactive experience the Luketian border patrol and story teller were brilliant and I loved the puppets, especially "puppets in exile from "Goodbye Planet Golko" after 2nd puppet war".
Deserves to be done on a bigger scale with a longer run. Fantastically well done Jonathan and all involved .d
A very good afternoon
Nigel
