Re: SEE3 The Big Launch - Saturday 1st December
A lot of blood, sweat and tears has taken place at 27 Sydenham Road to get ready for the big launch tomorrow. I have left Bruce putting the finishing touches to displaying the paintings from different local artists plus a range of work in the boxes including ceramics, glasswork, jewellery, mosaics and some fabulous knitwear.
Our "Jill" sign is ready to be installed tomorrow morning as we want heads to turn and people to come through the doors to purchase some fantastic Christmas gifts.
The wardrobes have arrived at Conquer Gear, 4 Station Approach along with the SEE Sydenham sign - so I am looking forward to this range of clothing.
Take a walk to Kirkdale to see the new market and hear our very own Alex Carter and Serge perform from 10am to 12.30pm. The formal opening of "Jill" is at 1pm and there is plenty on offer in the afternoon at the pop ups in Forest Hill and Kirkdale.
We have been working hard to make a difference to the high street - there is the competition for the best window display as well as turning on the Christmas tree and late night opening on Friday 7 December. So join in and make your high street a better place to shop.
