I make sure I don't use them as well
I know that they apparently did not break the law, however,to use loop holes is morally wrong, but why when these loop holes are highlighted are they not closed! Pronto!

Easier said than done, these are the sorts of people we're all working for.

Tax avoiding heretic 45%ers our mate Eagle defends.

Do we really need more Americanisation in this country?

They can take their gut wrenching wake the dead coffee back to where it belongs.

You wouldn't find a nice English tea room avoiding tax at the levels these people are allowed to get away with Agreed they can't compete at 06:00 in the morning. One could argue they bring employment here? Starbucks like to employ cheap Euro labor so I doubt that'd be much of a problem.

Google and Amazon need to shape up or ship out.

Mike
Not sure what you are refering to in line two.

Re employing cheap foreign staff. They do seem to employ mostly foreign staff but one must assume at least paying minimum wage.

Just Boycott them. For Amazon and Starbucks easy.

The directors of these firms probably in the pockets of their mates in No 10 along with other questionable individuals. Funny how GO does nothing in these cases but punish the unemployable and disabled.

As I've said, it's a cop out to go for the welfare claimants rather than corporate charlatans.

You watch, GO and co will only bow to political pressure with this because as a rule they choose to do nothing.

GO , unlike the Labour Government IS doing something. Did you not see his meeting with the German Finance Meeting last week.

We should go for tax avoiders , be it firms or individuals as well as benefit scroungers.

Again Eagle, it's the system of governance that is at fault not the people using it's unfit for purpose loopholes.

The law needs to change, who holds this power? the people in government. Why won't they do anything about it really? because it isn't in their best interest for them to do anything about it really.

You can't blame any individual or company it's the government's fault for allowing it to happen.
These loopholes exist yet No current or successive government has addressed it properly by changing the law, now why is that? because it isn't in their best interest.

They have NO meaningfull positive, long term solutions.

It would open up many cans of worms for them (it so often does), very embarrasing!
Whoops, best left alone, swept under the carpet, eh!

I see Cafe Nero now join the club of ones to be boycotted.
Only chain that passes muster are apparently , according to ST , Costa Coffee ( they are the best coffee in my humble opinion anyway of the multiples )

Support small coffee shops like Kente.

Some of these Coffee shops are robbers, there is one at Sainsbo's Dog Kennel Hill. I always feel monetarily violated once I leave the place. It's like an elaborate con artists trick. You get to the Barista, kids screaming everywhere, you order a couple of cups and something for the kids, hand over a score and are returned a few coins and shuffled up the end of the illusionists conveyor belt smarting and bewildered from the sheer rip off you've just been exposed to, all done in the name of fair trade.

No wonder the CEO's live in the lap of luxury.

Yes Mike. Believe that is a Starbucks so no UK tax or very little from them.
Once you have purchased drinks and cakes for children surprised you did need for than GBP 20.00 .

If they claim to make a loss in the UK with those prices must be very inadequate management.
