Lost ginger cat in Newlands Park

Post by chrisj1948 »

Garbo, a seven year old ginger (more fawn and white) tabby has been missing from her home by the intersection of Sydenham Road and Newlands Park since Friday. She is of a suspicious and retiring disposition and normally reacts to people as if they were axe-murderers. If you have spotted her could you ring Chris on 02086597082 or Mary on 07956382020. If you can make friends with her it would be more than Mary and I ever achieved!

Regards
Chris

Happy news! The CCTV at the front of the house had been misbehaving, but yesterday I reset it and the records from last night showed a cat which could well have been Garbo wandering in the front garden (with an IR unit at night one could not be certain). A few minutes ago, since it was dark again, I patrolled the neighbouring gardens rattling a bag of catfood, and was rewarded by the sight of her little suspicious face peering out of a hedge. Luring her back to the house was not easy, but now she is safely reunited with her sister and daughter, and I am regarded as the hero of the hour (by my wife and daughter, not by the cats).

Regards
Chris

Indeed - she sounds like a right little madam but I bet you are glad to have her back :)
